    I knew that Governor McAuliffe would work gun control into his statement. It was just a matter of how many seconds into it. Just imagine if, in the aftermath of one of those UK attacks, someone asked whether this would be enough to get the UK to enact reasonable, common sense gun laws. That is, repeal the absolute ban which reduces otherwise capable citizens to cowering under tables, frantically searching for chairs and bottles to defend themselves. Not going to happen, of course.
